Young Mexican Dorely Medina is accepted into NASA

The young Mexican Dorely Medina became one more Mexican pride when she was accepted by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in the International Air and Space program that only accommodates 60 young people from all over the world. 

Through a video, Dorely Medina, originally from the state of Nayarit, shared her excitement for the opportunity to participate in the International Air and Space Program, which takes place at NASA facilities in the United States, where she mainly teaches on space engineering, aeronautics and science. 

She In her message, pointed out that she went through a long selection process, where she was interviewed and had to send her project prototype, and other things. 

“Today I received my acceptance letter to the International Air and Space Program, a program that recruits 60 young people from all over the world to take them to NASA to meet engineers and to develop a project whose objective is to send them to the international space station.”, she exposed on social networks. 

She said that she took a huge step, because she doesn’t even expect to be accepted, however, she confessed that she always knew that she wanted to dedicate her life to science and technology. 

The young Mexican woman declared that she is surprised because young people from all over the world apply to this program and among so many young people she turned out to be one of the 60s. 

“I am Mexican and I am from Nayarit! And I am very excited to be able to go represent our state in this NASA program.”
