With the goal of preserving and promoting the state’s rich cultural heritage, the Governor of Nayarit, Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero, is promoting the Nayarit Colors and Flavors Encounter, an initiative that seeks to strengthen identity and a sense of belonging among the state’s communities.

This event will take place from April 17 to June 20, on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays starting at 5:00 p.m., with a traveling format that will allow each region of the state to share the best of its traditions, crafts, and cultural expressions.

Attendees will be able to enjoy typical cuisine, regional products, and a cultural program with music, dance, and activities that strengthen Nayarit’s identity and sense of belonging.

In addition, the encounter includes traditional workshops that share ancestral knowledge and contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage, while also supporting producers, traditional cooks, and artisans from across the state.

These types of activities aim to consolidate a cultural tourism model that values traditions and generates opportunities for local communities.
