Nayarit confirmed its first international flight to its recently expanded Tepic-Riviera Nayarit International Airport, with a new route to Los Angeles International Airport beginning July 16.
The expansion of the Riviera Nayarit International Airport represents a crucial advance in the development of the state of Nayarit’s tourism infrastructure. It is projected to serve four million passengers, and up to 20 million annually. With improved capacity to handle international flights, the airport will become a key gateway for travelers seeking to explore the diversity of this rich destination.
Volaris will fly between both airports on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays beginning July 16. The airport will feature state-of-the-art immigration services, allowing for digital entry into the country without lines.
Riviera Nayarit, one of Mexico’s top destinations, continues to experience growing international demand, and the route is expected to facilitate increased visitor arrivals. Additionally, the flights will serve a significant number of Nayarit residents living in California who frequently travel between the two regions.
