Are you looking for a unique experience without leaving Mexico? You can find the largest theme park in Latin America in Nuevo Nayarit, which doesn’t ask anything of Disney.
Mexico has beautiful destinations that captivate visitors from around the world, but there’s one place that competes with Disney. It’s called Vidanta World, a giant theme park located in Bahía de Bandera (one of the country’s largest bays) and covers an area of 42 kilometers.
Vidanta is one of Mexico’s most important resort chains and has been building this ambitious project in Nuevo Nayarit for several years.
The park includes luxurious rooms, golf courses, entertainment parks, and a first-of-its-kind cable car within a beach development, the SkyDream Parks Gondola.
Vidanta World was designed by Wing Chao, principal theme designer at Disney, and will offer three dream parks:
• Dream Park Immersive: Here, visitors can explore ancient ruins and a mysterious and magical jungle.
• Dream Park Aquatic: An exciting oasis filled with the world’s best aquatic attractions.
•Dream Park Natural: A park focused on nature, where visitors can discover a wild world full of colors and magic.
Those interested in visiting this new attraction center should keep an eye on Vidanta’s social media for official entrance prices and opening dates to the general public.
The SkyDream Parks Gondola cable car is already in operation, offering a quick and scenic way to travel between Vidanta Nuevo Nayarit and Vidanta World.
This system is the first of its kind in a beach development and allows guests to enjoy breathtaking views of Bahía de Banderas while traveling between its five stations.
The first phase of Vidanta World opened exclusively to Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta guests from August 1st to November 12th, 2023.
This pre-opening allowed visitors to enjoy concerts, light shows, carnival games, and other attractions before the official opening.
