The Navy activates collection centers in Nayarit for victims of Hurricane Erick.

In order to provide support to the affected population in Oaxaca following Hurricane Erick, the Tenth Naval Zone, as part of the implementation of the Navy Plan, now in its Recovery Phase, has set up four collection centers in Nayarit.
A press release announced that the collection centers are open to the general public in Tepic’s Bicentennial Plaza, as well as in the Main Plaza of the San Blas municipal government. Another is located in Las Varas’ Main Plaza, and the fourth is located at the Tenth Naval Zone facilities in San Blas. Those wishing to contribute can do so Monday through Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Therefore, this institution invites all citizens to contribute and donate non-perishable food items, such as canned or packaged items, as well as bottled water and personal hygiene products.

Regarding the pantry, we need: tuna, sardines, canned goods (grains and legumes), mayonnaise, coffee, tomato puree, oil, bottled water, rice, sugar, salt, soup, powdered milk, cereal, oatmeal cookies, beans, baby food, and baby food.
Regarding hygiene products, we request: bleach, detergent, dish soap, bar soap, toothpaste, toilet paper, diapers, sanitary napkins, a toothbrush, and a comforter or blanket.
