With the aim of intensifying surveillance work during Holy Week and Easter in Nayarit, the State Police’s Cóndor Unit has deployed drones on various beaches and roads of the state.
The presence of the controled aircraft, communicated by the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), is located in the municipality of San Blas, specifically on the following beaches: Islitas, Matanchén, El Borrego, and Aticama with the support of Mobile C5, as well as in Rincón de Guayabitos in the municipality of Compostela.
These monitoring and surveillance tasks, the corporation confirms, are to provide road assistance and general security on the aforementioned communication routes. Meanwhile, in the tourist areas (beaches), they will have tasks of prevention, security, as well as support in rescue and search operations in Nuevo Nayarit of Bahía de Banderas.
